PTPG Sanata Dharma

The idea to establish a Higher Education Teacher (onset ) by prof . Moh . Yamin , S.H. ( Minister of Education and Culture ) in 1950 was welcomed by Catholic priests , especially the Order of the Society of Jesus ( Jesuits commonly abbreviated as SJ ) . Then, the Order has opened courses B1 , among others, B1 Educate ( De Britto Foundation ) in Yogyakarta, which is managed by Father H. Loeff , S.J. and B1 English ( Loyola Foundation ) in Semarang by Father WJ Van der Meulen , S.J. and Father H. Bastiaanase , S.J. With the support of thr Congregatio de Propaganda Fide, Father Kester, the then Superior of the Jesuit Missionaries these courses into a college and onset of Sanata Dharma was born on October 20, 1955 and was inaugurated by the government on December 17, 1955 . At first onset of Sanata Dharma has 4 subjects , namely English , History , Science, and Science Educate . The mission of the Society of Jesus pointing magnifying Prof. Fr . Nicolaus Driyarkara , S.J. became Dean of the onset of Sanata Dharma and Father H. Loeff as Vice Dean of the name " Sanata Dharma " was coined by Fr K. Sanata Dharma Guidance and Counseling (1958 - 1965)

Ini Dia 20 Universitas terbaik se-Asia tahun 2013

Best universities in Asia dominated the campus of East Asia , including Hong Kong , Japan , and China . Southeast Asian countries are a top 20 university just Singapore .
In Emirates247 report on Tuesday ( 10/9 ) , Hong Kong University of Science and Technology was ranked first in the list of 20 best universities in Asia that made ​​the QS World University Ranking . Beasiswa Olimpiade Sains Internasional (OSI)

1. Latar Belakang
Berdasarkan Undang-undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional bahwa setiap peserta didik pada setiap satuan pendidikan (termasuk mahasiswa) berhak mendapatkan beasiswa bagi yang mempunyai prestasi.
Mengacu pada Undang-undang tersebut, maka Pemerintah melaui Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi – Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional, akan memberikan penghargaan kepada siswa jenjang menengah dan mahasiswa peraih medali emas, perak, dan perunggu pada Olimpiade bidang sains tingkat Internasional.
Pemberian penghargaan tersebut akan diberikan dalam bentuk beasiswa untuk melanjutkan kuliah/studi sampai jenjang Strata I (S1) , S2 dan S3 baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri.
2. Dasar

3. Tujuan
  • Memberikan motivasi kepada siswa SMA dan sederajat untuk meningkatkan prestasinya, dan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yg lebih tinggi khususnya di bidang sains;
  • Memberikan motivasi kepada mahasiswa untuk dapat terus meningkatkan prestasi dan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi;
  • Memajukan bidang Sains khususnya dan daya saing Indonesia.
4. Kategori
Beasiswa sampai jenjang S3 untuk Peraih Medali Emas, S2 untuk medali perak dan S1 untuk perunggu pada Olimpiade SainsI nternasional sesuai rekomendasi Direktorat Pembinaan SMA/SMK.
