UKSW University

Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) in Salatiga, founded in 1956 as the Christian College Teacher Education Indonesia (PTPGKI). In 1959 was inaugurated the Satya Wacana Christian University.

Discourse Satya means: Loyal To the Word of God.

SWCU organized by the Foundation of Christian Higher Education Satya Discourse, and supported by 18 of the Synod of the Church on the island of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Irian Jaya, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.

SWCU been accredited as one of the leading private universities in Indonesia.

Currently SWCU consists of: 14 faculty consisting of 29 study programs, 8 Master Program, 2 and 7 Doctoral Program Professional Diploma Program III.
