In Emirates247 report on Tuesday ( 10/9 ) , Hong Kong University of Science and Technology was ranked first in the list of 20 best universities in Asia that made the QS World University Ranking . The second position is occupied by the National University of Singapore ( NUS ), which is equal to the University of Hong Kong .
Seoul National University is in the fourth position . China's Peking University became the only campus that are in the top 10 . Hong Kong managed to occupy the four positions in the world's 20 best universities .
However , many Japanese universities are in the top 20 universities to occupy seven positions . But the top spot in the Japanese universities are the University of Tokyo ninth position .
University of South Korea got five positions in the rankings . Meanwhile, the Chinese got the two positions . The last position of the list of the 20 best universities in Asia occupied by Japan Kyushu University .
