Profile
Currently, Airlangga University has 13 faculties and a graduate program
and has 127 study program (Prodi) of various levels, including programs
academic, vocational, and specialists.
* The academic program was held consisting of three levels of education ie
1. 32 S1 Prodi,
2. S2 as many as 34 Prodi,
3. S3 as many as nine Prodi.
* Education programs consist of vocational and professional
1. D3 as many as 20 Prodi,
2. Professional education as many as seven courses, namely Education Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Veterinarians, Notary, Accountant, and psychologist;
3. Prodi Specialist 1 (SP1) as many as 32 courses.
Based on data from odd semester of 2009/2010 per October 2009, the number of active students from Airlangga University as much as 24 143 people, which is distributed in all courses D3, S1, S2, S3 and some specialist programs.
Human resources at the University of Airlangga consists of academic staff
and educational staff. Academic staff consists of permanent academic staff in 1642 as many as 1534 people, with details of people who have the status of Civil Servants (PNS) and the status of the UA-BHMN Employees numbered 108 people. Academic staff are not fixed or outstanding faculty of 565 persons.
Summary of academic staff and equipment based on education are as
follows:
* Staff with the rank of academic degree (S1) counted 347 people
* Academic staff with the education level of Master (S2) & Specialist 1 (Sp 1) as many as 885 people
* Academic staff with doctoral education level (S3) as many as 410 people

4. Seek independence in the implementation of Tri Dharma Higher Education through the institutional development of modern management-oriented quality and ability to compete internationally.
Goal
1. Produce high quality graduates who are able to develop science, technology, humanities and arts, and can compete in international markets based on religious morals;
2. Produce innovative research that encourages the development of science, technology, humanities, and arts in the national and international scale;
3. Generate dedication to the community to empower people to be able to solve problems independently and sustainably;
4. Independence of the university realize an adaptive, creative, proactive to the demands of the development of the strategic environment.
Educational staff that consists of 1571 amounted to 1186 person-status
Status of civil servants and employees 385 people-BHMN UA. Administrative management for
all academic staff at the University of either fixed or not fixed (extraordinary professor) located in each faculty, including all academic staff involved in the Graduate Program.
Summary of educational staff based on education are as follows:
* Staff education with the education level of Master (S2) as many as 28 people
* Staff education by education level Bachelor (S1) as many as 348 people
* Academic staff by level of education Diploma (D1-D3) 130 people
* Academic staff with high education level (high school) as many as 773 people
* Academic staff with less education level of Secondary (SMP & SD) as many as 292 people
